Is it just me or are the judges in various sports annoying the crap out of you?
The Women's Gymastics All Around judging is definitely starting to go south.
Boxing!?! I guess dodging is now ducking down and you lose a point.
Michael Wilbon said it best on PTI today. It's the Olympics.

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they are fair and more than likely, correct. While they take tremendously long, they DO have strict guidelines that have to be followed and adhered to.
1I thought that myself until I watched a boxing match between men from two different countries and clearly saw punches that connected and no points were awarded to that gentleman. Then, it was reviewed by the committee that night and the US rep stated that 8 points were not awarded to that boxer. Fair? I think not.
But nothing compares to the ranting and raving of Bela Karolyi about the gymnastics scoring. Yikes! He went bananas on the NBC live interview. This story though I agree with the judging. http://www.nbcolympics.com/gymnastics/news/newsid=228180.html
